Adobe Photoshop Filter support

Photoshop plugins are add-on programs aimed at providing additional image effects or performing tasks that are impossible or hard to fulfill using Adobe Photoshop alone. Plugins can be opened from within compatible appplications and act like mini-editors that modify the image.

The most common type are filter plugins. They have the 8bf file format and usually supply special image effects.

Do you think adding 8bf filter support in RIOT would be a benefit ?
A nice adition would be the GML Matting filter for object extraction.

Of course any fancy add-on is welcome, but I'm not sure about this .8bf support.
After all, these filters have to do with 'modulation', not 'optimization'.
I would rather reverse the issue : is it an idea to make a 'riot.8bf' version ?

Edit: I tried to add the GML Matting 8bf to IV, but it requires layers.

It might be useful to create riot.8bf to be able to integrate it in many popular products. Maybe someone with experience in adobe filter programming can create such filter based on my dll.

GML Matting can be used with a product with no alpha channel support by extracting on a solid background or extracting the greyscale mask.
