I would really like to use the program but I have only gotten it to work for me three times. It works in regular mode but batch only works very rarely. It proceeds like it should be working but the files are unchanged. I save the files to a new folder and they are the same size as the original files in a different folder. I have tried just a few items in the batch, or many- it doesnt seem to matter. Every once in a while it works and the filesize is greatly reduced. I have experimented with different levels of quality and different modes. I am using Windows 10 and version 0.6.0
I'll certainly pay for the program if I can get it to work consistently.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jim

The only mode that gives you a complete control over the settings is the Manual Mode. Check out the batch settings. You will find different settings there that control overwriting and decision to use the original if the optimized image was bigger.
I would recommend the full auto mode because it can help you make better decisions on batches of different image types. If the image cannot be reduced in size to preserve the quality, this means it cannot be optimized. If you can optimize it in visual mode, then it should behave the same in batch.Posted 2 years ago # -
when I download the plugin for Irfanview, it seems that the version is still 0.5.2 not 0.6

The download today gives the 0.6 version. Thanks!

Same here. I used a portable version instead and batch worked fine this time.

Ah, happened again, but now I see a pattern. Load an image in manual mode and then go to Options > Batch and it will work. I guess...

Hello! I have the similar problem (with batch resizer) when my Windows 10 was updated for "Creators Update" version. It seems we need 0.7.0 RIOT :)
